George C. A. Rausch

Word has been received in Springfield of the death Sunday of George C. A. Rausch, 84, of Akron, father of Arthur R. Rausch 731 E. Madison av.

Mr. Rausch, Ohio's oldest member of the Independent ORder of Odd Fellows, had been a resident of Akron for 77 years and an Odd Fellow for 54 years. He was a member of Akron Lodge No. 547 and the North Springfield Presbyterian CHurch. A retired meat cutter, Rausch for years had operated a meat stand in the former Akron City Market.

Other suvivors include three sons, A.A., Clarence and Charles of Akron; Christian of Cuyahoga Falls; and a brither, Oscar of Orlando, Fla.; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p. m. Wednesday in Akron, with burial in Ellet Cemetery.
